System Setting Basics

What are the 'System Settings'

As it's name implies, the 'System Settings' are used to specify configuration options over the entire system. This list is not comprehensive as there are other configuration options such as references that exist under a separate menu within the 'Admin' module. The system settings found here are simple boolean values, logos or other configuration options that will specify defaults or specific settings across the entire system. Generally speaking, only staff level administrative users should have control of this menu item.
