Add Pages

By adding new pages to your site you are able to expand the content. You are also able to add your new pages to your main navigation bar shown below.

Login to Admin Portal

After you have logged in navigate to 'CMS' > 'Pages'

Here you are able to see all the pages currently running on your website. You are also able to 'Activate/Deactivate' any pages as well as change their public status.

To create a new page click 'New Page'

Fill out all the information about the page. The Url name is what will be displayed in the address bar on the browser. Feel free to leave the Keywords and Description blank.

Your website will have at least 4 available templates choose the layout that will best fit the content you plan on displaying on the particular web page. This can be changed at anytime. (for more information on what each template looks like see the Template Article)

Ensure that the new page is publicly visible by clicking this box.

When all the information has been added click 'Save Page' to add the web page

Adding It To the Menu

As of right now you would be able to navigate to your page by typing in the URL name. But it currently isn't visible on your website navigation bar. To add the page to the menu navigate to  'CMS' > 'Menus' .

There will already be at least one menu named here, click on 'Main Navigation' to edit the menu.

Here you can see all of the pages currently on your websites navigation. you can 'Activate/Deactivate' 'Delete' and 'Reorder' the menu items.

To add a new page to the menu click 'Add Submenu/Page'

Fill out all of the information needed. For 'Name' this is how the page link will be displayed on the website navigation.

For the 'Landing Page' type in the name of the webpage you recently created and it should appear.

For this example I also want the Calendar menu item to be a drop down menu that shows the About us page. To do this add a child page by typing in the name of an existing web page.

Ensure the menu item is publicly visible by clicking the check box.

Click 'Save Menu' when all the information is complete

Your page has now been added to the website navigation. To reorder the navigation items click 'Reorder'.

Drag and drop the pages to reorder them.

Click 'Save Order' to save your changes.

Now if we go back to your website the new page should be visible on the website navigation.

The child page will also display when we hover the mouse over 'Calendar'
